Chorley bounce back hopes at St Annes

Chorley will be hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat at Morecambe, when they host St Annes at Windsor Park.

And captain Jack Catterall is hoping his bowlers can start firing on all cylinders.

South African professional Friedel de Wet has only taken three wickets in his last three Northern League matches.

His other opening bowler Kieron McCullagh has also struggled.

But he said: “I think if Kieron can get three or four wickets in a match he’ll finish the season strongly.”

Tomorrow’s fixtures: Barrow v Lancaster; Carnforth v Kendal; Chorley v St Annes; Darwen v Leyland; Morecambe v Preston; Netherfield v Fleetwood.
