Lytham's cricketers suffered a frustrating weekend, securing a comfortable Liverpool Premier Division win against Northern, before suffering a crushing defeat in the ECB Cockspur Cup National Knockout to Kendal.
Jimmy Wisniewski continued his fine form on Saturday, smashing 109 in Lytham's total of 285 for 7 declared, before taking 5-38 as Northern finished on 216 for 8.
But the weekend turned sour when Lytham were soundly beaten at Kendal.
The Fylde coast side were skittled for 125, with Kendal reaching their target for the loss of just four wickets.
