A determined Lytham team thrashed the home side on Saturday as captain Jimmy Wisniewski top scored with 87 after winning the toss with the final score Lytham 209 for 9 dec and Maghull 67.
Lytham's aggresive push for the Championship was demonstrated again on Monday with another destruction job after winning the toss.
Maximum points were achieved thanks to quick scoring from Simon Long, unlucky to be given out on 97, his highest ever score and Guy Roberts, also unlucky with 73. The final score was Lytham 251 for 6 dec, St Helens Recs 134.
Next week's match home to Bootle may be the title decider.
