Losing the toss and being invited to bat first on a damp wicket and outfield proved to be a good strategy for Lytham as the respectable total accrued was sufficient to beat a strong visiting team who were caught in failing light.

This was an excellent comeback after last weekend's upsets, based on batting in depth around Guy Roberts (67) and Captain Jiimmy Wisniewski (53).

Marcus Sharpe was the most successful bowler, taking 5 for 67 but all of Lytham's eleven worked tirelessly to secure a highly impressive win against the second placed team in the competition.
