The Meningitis Trust is appealing to local people from North West to join its All Stars Teams for the BUPA Great Runs and this year can offer guaranteed places in the Great North, South and Manchester runs.
The events offer a fantastic personal challenge as well as the chance to rub shoulders with top athletes and celebrities.
They are extremely enjoyable with around 60,000 participants from all over the world taking part.

"We are hoping that both experienced and first-time runners will join our team," says Sian Jones, Event Organiser.
"The Great Manchester and Great South are shorter runs over flat ground and are an ideal event if this is your first road run.
The Great North Run is a bit further at 13.1 miles and is the world's biggest half marathon.
"There is a great festival atmosphere at all these events and you experience a great sense of achievement.
By participating in one of the Great Runs you will be helping thousands of families whose lives have been devastated by meningitis."
The Meningitis Trust provides its team members with a personalised All Stars Running Team vest as well as a full training and fundraising pack.
