Fylde have continued their pre-season preparations with the signing of an Australian centre.
Twenty-five year-old Dan Loader has joined the club, having spent two seasons with Waterloo.
Loader is a former Randwick, Illawarra and New South Wales Provincial player.
Fylde intend to use him primarily as a centre but he's at home on the wing or at fullback as well. In Waterloo's National One campaign in 2006/7 he ended up as their top points scorer as he was also used as a goal kicker.
Loader was in action in Fylde's Beach Rugby Tournament on July 12 when he played for the Samurai team.
Director of Rugby Mark Nelson said: "We're delighted to welcome Dan to the Woodlands.
“He's a very dangerous and speedy strike runner as well as being a good all round footballer.
“He has plenty of senior experience including in the NSW Premiership and in National One and Two with Waterloo."
He takes the former Waterloo contingent now in the Fylde squad to seven, including Craig Aikman, Steve Nutt, Chris Tyms, Neil Hunter, Dan Palmer and Darren Clark.
