After a week in which two games yielded four valuable points, the Seasiders must fancy their chances of further boosting their hopes of winning a place in the play-offs when they host Brighton at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
Brighton have won two and drawn one of their last three away games, so Pool will need to perform if the expected three points are to materialise.
It will be interesting to see how Grayson shuffles his pack on Saturday.
Michael Jackson will be expected to return if he is available, and Andy Morrell and Ben Burgess are likely to be asked to continue the good work up front.
In midfield, Simon Gillett and David Fox's places look secure, so it will be a question of whether the rested Wes Hoolahan returns in place of Adrian Forbes, who did well and scored on Tuesday, and whether Keith Southern will be fit to return in place of Claus Jorgensen.
It seems unlikely Southern will be fit, having undergone a scan on the knee injured at Gillingham.
It would not be a surprise if the return of Jackson is the only change to the starting line-up.
