Lytham supermarket backs Tins and Toys

A Lytham supermarket has thrown its support behind the Citizen’s Tins and Toys Christmas Appeal, in aid of families in crisis who have suffered domestic abuse.

Booths Supermarket on Haven Road has donated a tasty selection of festive treats which will be handed over to Fylde Coast Women’s Aid, who run two refuges in the area.

The Citizen office, Clifton Street, Blackpool, is the pick up point for the collection during weekday office hours..

All we ask is that gifts are new and unwrapped, and tins and unperishable foods are within their sell-by date.

Toiletries for mothers would also be greatly appreciated, as would nappies and baby items.
