A 56-year-old woman has been charged with the attempted murder of a man in Thornton.
Linda Wrigley, of Ascot Road, Thornton, is due to appear before magistrates in Fleetwood today.
Police were called just after 9am on Thursday to an address on Ascot Road.
On arrival, they found an 80-year-old victim suffering from stab wounds to his stomach and chest.
The man underwent surgery at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Police said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
