The Riverdance ferry, which has been beached off the coast near Cleveleys since the end of January, is to feature in a popular TV documentary series.
Coast, which shows on BBC2, have been filming the salvage operation and presenters and a camera team boarded a Sea King helicopter this week to film aerial views.
The story will be explored in a future edition of the show.
The last of the wreckage of the vessel is set to be broken up by early October.
