Exotic burlesque show hailed success

More than 30 women were introduced to the exotic world of the burlesque during a special event at Thornton Little Theatre.

Those taking part had the opportunity to work with burlesque artist Bella Besame and meet Scarlet Fever, from TV's Faking It.

The 33 ladies enjoyed a workshop and several of them put on a performance for an audience of more than 50 later in the evening.

The event was oversubscribed and the theatre plans to stage a similar event in the future.
