The Mayor of Fylde is extending a special invitation to Fylde residents to enjoy a command performance in aid of the mayoral charities.
The evening will take place on Friday 18 April at 7.30pm at Lowther Pavilion in the town.
It will be compered by comedy legend Bobby Ball and features a line-up including comedian and guitarist Terry Devon, The Cumbrian songbird' Amy Forest, international cabaret artist James Reay, singing duo Classic Sound, Magician Paul Leverett and the ever-popular Karen Hunter dancers.
Councillor John Prestwich, Mayor of Fylde, said: "It is wonderful that these performers have given of their time to support my charities and appear for free and I would encourage residents to attend for an evening which blends the best of local talent with national and international acts."
Tickets cost £10 each and are available from Lowther box office on 01253 658666 or go online at www.fylde.gov.uk and then click the Lowther Pavilion tab.
The mayor's charities for 2007-2008 are: Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Society for the Blind -The Blackpool Fylde & Wyre Society for the Blind was founded in 1910 to provide help and support to locally based visually impaired people.
Christian Aid - Christian Aid, an agency of the churches of the UK and Ireland, works to assist long term development in some of the world's poorest communities.
Support goes to partner organisations regardless of race or religion in sixty countries.
Fylde District Scouting Association - The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
