On hearing that a young Kirkham and Wesham FC supporter was recently unwell, the club's goalkeeper coach Neil Mitchell organised a surprise visit to give the young fan a boost.
Jonathan Brook, 17, of Coronation Road, Kirkham near to the club's former ground, suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
He was presented with a Kirkham & Wesham, official team shirt by striker Matt Walwyn.
The shirt was signed by both management and the full first-team squad who are preparing for the FA Vase Final at Wembley next month.
Jonathan has promised to wear the shirt on Sunday, May 11, when the side play their big final and will cheer the team on from his home in Kirkham.
Jonathan's parents passed on their thanks to all at the club for their generous gift, and wished the team well at Wembley, and for the rest of the season.
