A councillor is campaigning to have electronic chips removed from wheelie bins across the Fylde.
Councillor Simon Renwick, who represents the Kirkham and WEsham areas of the borough, plans to write to fellow cabinet member Tim Ashton asking for the council's policy on the use of bin chips to be reviewed.
What do you think about plans to charge people for waste?

The chips are currently in every bin in Fylde and could be potentially a mechanism to charge people for the rubbish they throw away.
However, there is much public suspicion and distrust of bin chips.
Coun Renwick said: "People are worried about the use of these chips to charge per pound of rubbish, I feel that that concern is justified.
"Council tax is the mechanism to pay for your rubbish to be cleared away, not an ID card on wheels spying on us in our bins.
"I have asked Councillor Ashton to bring a report to Fylde's Cabinet and we can make a decision to not implement their use in this way.
"In today's society of big brother watching, these chips are a step too far and will lead to increased fly tipping."
