Police are hunting a man who has recently absconded from Kirkham Prison after being sentenced at Preston Crown Court for burglary.
Mohammed Khan was sentenced to two years five months in February and spent a short time at Preston Prison before being transferred to Kirkham.
Recent intelligence has led police believe he may have links in the Skelmersdale area and are asking people to be vigilant and to contact the Police if they see him.
Khan is about 6ft 1ins tall, of Asian appearance with brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he had a bald head and was clean shaven.
