Blackpool Zoo's education officer, Yvette Foulds, is aping around for charity and she's inviting everyone to join in!
Yvette is holding a Gorilla Conservation Weekend at the East Park Drive attraction on May 10-11 to raise money for The Gorilla Organisation.
Gorilla activities include acting ape' workshops, ape enrichment workshops, competitions, face painting, a raffle and the chance to sponsor Yvette to take part in the Great Gorilla Run!
Yvette will join thousands of fellow ape-lovers for a seven kilometre jog around London dressed in a full gorilla costume this September.
Gorillas are an endangered species and Blackpool Zoo is home to three female gorillas called Njema, Maliki and Kena as well as one male called Jitu.
Yvette explained: "Come along and join in the fun at Blackpool Zoo and help raise money for one of the world's most incredible endangered species.
"It's a great opportunity to learn more about gorillas, their habitats and their future."
To sponsor Yvette in the Great Gorilla Run contact the zoo's Education Department on 01253 830805 or sponsor her online via the link below.
