A famous Blackpool landmark, one of the first visitors see on their way into the resort, has been left battered after the weekend storms.
The Marton windmill, which recently underwent a £5,000 facelift, was hit by 50mph winds over the Easter weekend, which have ripped one of four 32ft sails from the landmark.
There is now a doubt whether funds can be raised to save the much-loved windmill.
