A man has admitted killing a father-of-three whose body was found at an address in Fleetwood.
James Howard, 23, of North Albert Street, Fleetwood, pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to unlawfully killing Keith Waterworth between April 19 and 23 this year.
The 42-year-old's body had been found at another address on North Albert Street.
Judge Anthony Russell QC directed that a pre-sentence report be drawn up on Howard by the probation service.
There was no application for bail and the defendant, who will be 24 tomorrow, was remanded in custody to a date to be fixed.
The judge told him: "You have pleaded guilty to this offence of manslaughter. That is a serious offence.
"The court will be considering a custodial sentence in your case, but it is right, given the circumstances of this case, that I should have as much information about you and your background as possible before deciding on the appropriate length of that sentence."
