A 49-year-old Fleetwood woman who lost her self control drove her car at her former partner, a court heard.
Preston Crown Court was told that Carol Whittaker had not intended to cause injury during the incident on March 9 in Station Road, Fleetwood, and the car was driven slowly and only a short distance.
Whittaker, of Kent Street, Fleetwood, admitted dangerous driving when she appeared at Preston Crown Court.
She was sentenced to a community order with a year's supervision and she was was also disqualified from driving for a year.
She will have to take an extended driving test before getting her licence back and pay £250 prosecution costs.
Mr Kevin Donnelly, defending, said Whittaker, of previous good character, was remorseful and sorry for what she had done.
There had been an acrimonious breakdown of the relationship gradually over time.
The strain proved too much for Whittaker and she lost control of herself. The relationship was at an end.
