Man taken to hospital after South Shore blaze

An elderly man was taken to hospital after a blaze in his South Shore home this morning.
Two crews from Blackpool fire station were called to the house on Lowrey Terrace at 5.02am.
Firefighters entered the building to to tackle the fire in the kitchen which officers believe could have been started by an electrical fault.
A male occupant was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for checks after inhaling smoke.
