An aspiring model is a step closer to becoming the face of Club 18-30 holidays after beating hundreds of hopefuls to reach the final stages of a competition.
Lindsey Perry, 23, of Maudland Road, South Shore, who was Miss Blackpool in 2003 and came third in the Miss England contest that year has reached the final casting.
She is hoping to be one of seven hopefuls chosen to go on a week long professional photo shoot in Ibiza in June.
The pictures from the shoot, which will consist of four girls and three lads, will be used for the holiday firm's 2007 brochure and could be a stepping stone to a full-time modelling career.
Lindsey now works in promotions and hopes to be a gym instructor decided to enter the competition after booking her first ever girlie holiday.
She said: "I saw the competition in a brochure and as I was booking for a holiday in Kos I decided to give it a go.
"I went to the auditions in Bradford and there were loads of people there so I was surprised when I heard I'd got through to the final casting.
"I really hope I make it through to the final seven and the trip to Ibiza."
Club 18-30 brochure production controller, Nici Hardy, said: "With interest this year from the USA, Canada and Russia, Lindsey has certainly put Blackpool on the map.
"All those through to the final casting are excellent and we are spoiled for choice. It will be difficult to whittle them down to only seven."
