Grant will help older Blackpool folk stay active

The Co-operative is helping older people in Blackpool to stay active thanks to a £520 grant to the Revoe Over 55s’ group.
The money will be used to employ a qualified tutor to run gentle exercise sessions.
Patricia Spencer-Hughes, group coordinator, said: “Our group provides a meeting place for members to socialise and take part in activities and these sessions will encourage them to live healthier lifestyles.”
