Thousands of Fylde teenagers find out whether they made the grade today when their GCSE results are released.
If successful, many should be in line for a reward as research conducted by education charity Edge says almost a quarter of parents said they offered gifts, including cash, as an incentive to make sure sons and daughters achieved good grades.
