Police have released this image that shows the moment a security guard was threatened with a meat clever during a robbery in St Annes.
The CCTV image has been released in the hope that somebody may recognise one of the attackers that raided a Securicor van outside the Tesco Express store in the town.
The guard was threatened with a meat clever and a machete during the terrifying attack and was forced to hand over an undisclosed amount of cash.
The incident happened at Tesco Express on Kilnhouse Lane last Thursday at around 1pm.
The robbers escaped with a cash box containing an unknown quantity of money before speeding off in a high-powered Mercedes C220 CDI which was dumped in nearby Mellings Lane, at the rear of the Queensway Harvester pub.
The silver car had been stolen from the Bury area of Manchester.
All the men involved are believed to be white, possibly having Manchester accents.
One of the men that police want to speak to is described as white, around 25 years of age, of slim build with shaver hair, wearing jeans and a light top.
Anyone with information is asked to call Blackpool police on 01253 293933 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
