Disruptions expected on Lancashire's train lines

PASSENGERS can expect disruptions on Lancashire's train lines.
Engineering work between Blackpool and Preston will disrupt the normal weekend train service due to on-going preparation for the electrification of the route.
On Saturday, trains will not be able to run between Blackpool North/South and Preston in both directions. Buses will run between these stations to connect with onward trains at Preston.
On Sunday, trains will not be able to run between Blackpool North and Preston, and connecting buses will run between Blackpool North and Preston in both directions.
Delays are expected until 9 December.
