Former Blackpool athlete Kara Nwidobie to make Gladiators debut

Former Blackpool athlete Kara Nwidobie will be making her debut as a Gladiator when the popular TV show returns to our screens this weekend.
The former Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Athletics Club member, was previously the country's top discus thrower, but a lack of funding forced her to pack in the sport last year.
Now the 26-year-old nursery worker, who lives in Morecambe, is putting her athletic physique to the test, by starring as Panther in the Sky One series.
Gladiators returns on Sunday, at 6pm, on Sky One.
