A Lytham St Annes pub is encouraging its regulars to get all creative and produce a piece of art made from salad.
The Queensway Harvester, in Blackpool Road, is throwing down the green-fingered challenge in recognition of a salad-based exhibition set to open at the Tate Modern art gallery in London.
Customers who feel they could make something arty out of a salad are encouraged to attend a special Harvester art exhibition at the pub on Friday May 23.
Adrian Beirne, restaurant manager, said: "We have always viewed making fresh salad as an art, so, while many people might think that it's another example of the art world gone mad, we feel it is only right to celebrate the event.
"Now, we want to hear from the people of Lytham St Annes who feel they can produce a masterpiece from the ingredients of our salad cart - if you think you have what it takes contact us by emailing art@harvester.co.uk."
