The Lights In This Town Are Too Many To Count (BMG)is the fourth album from Croydon-based band Grand Drive.

It features five songs each from brothers Danny and Julian Wilson, clocking in at a pacy 49 minutes and is as warm a summer collection as you could hope for.

The brothers who were born in Australia but have lived in south London most of their lives have moved on from the pure country of earlier releases to embrace Eagles-style Californian pop and the emotive harmonies of the Beach Boys and maybe even a little T-Rex.

Grand Drive: Too Many Lights In This Town.

The album takes its name from a line in the song Lady of Mine a ballad about Brighton's derelict West Pier - Danny's been a long-time fan since childhood visits to the seaside town.

There is even a track inspired by Crystal Palace, the mellow Santa Rita.

This album is polished and probably best enjoyed either as background music while chilling at home or as the soundtrack while driving with the car windows wound down.
