The Grand theatre in Blackpool, alongside the Winter gardens and the tower, is one of the three key cultural cornerstones for everything that’s going on in Blackpool. With a rich, vibrant history, outstanding architecture, and extensive variety of shows it really has to be seen to be truly savoured and appreciated.
Built in 1894 the Grand has been host to performances from a plethora of star names over it’s rich history including Richard Attenborough, Michael Crawford, John Geilgud, Vivien Leigh, Robert Powell, Peter Ustinov, Norman Wisdom, Les Dawson, Ken Dodd, Danny La Rue, and Cannon & Ball.
Now showing over 140 different shows each year there’s always something for everyone at the Grand – their roster includes farces, panto, stand-up, musicals, live bands, contemporary dance, classical music, opera, and dramatic plays.
