An amendment to terms surrounding a new criminal record certificate which job applicants could be asked to show as part of the application process has been welcomed by Croydon North Labour MP Malcolm
Wicks. He said volunteer organisations should not be charged for using the new service called the Criminal Records Bureau because many of them employ people to work with children and vulnerable
adults.
